Hikvision iDS-7204HQHI-M1/FA – 4-ch 1080P 1U H.265 AcuSense DVR
The Hikvision iDS-7204HQHI-M1/FA is a 4-channel Turbo HD digital video recorder built for sites that want facial recognition alongside standard AcuSense detection. Specifically, it accepts HDTVI, AHD, HDCVI, and CVBS analog inputs, and it also supports up to 6 IP camera channels when Enhanced IP mode is active. As a result, installers can combine analog cameras with a handful of IP cameras on one recorder.
Meanwhile, deep-learning motion detection 2.0 runs on every analog channel by default, classifying humans and vehicles instead of reacting to every moving object. This, in turn, reduces false alerts caused by leaves, insects, or headlights. In addition, the /FA variant adds face picture comparison and search, supporting up to 16 face libraries with up to 500 stored pictures, alongside perimeter protection on up to two channels.
Furthermore, the DVR records at up to full-channel 1080p resolution using H.265 Pro+/H.265 Pro/H.265/H.264+/H.264 compression, which keeps storage costs manageable. On top of that, a single SATA bay supports drives up to 10 TB, and Hik-Connect enables remote viewing without complex network setup.
