Hikvision iDS-7216HQHI-M1/XT – 16-ch 1080p 1U H.265 AcuSense DVR
The Hikvision iDS-7216HQHI-M1/XT is a 16-channel Turbo HD digital video recorder that packs facial recognition and advanced perimeter protection into a full-size 1U AcuSense chassis. Specifically, it accepts HDTVI, AHD, HDCVI, and CVBS analog inputs adaptively, and it also supports up to 24 IP camera channels when Enhanced IP mode is active. As a result, installers can run a large mixed analog/IP site from a single recorder.
Meanwhile, this /XT variant adds face picture comparison and search across up to 16 face libraries, with a 4-channel face-comparison alarm on HD analog cameras. In addition, up to eight channels support the advanced-model deep-learning perimeter protection, doubling the coverage of the standard 4-channel models. Note that facial recognition, motion detection 2.0, and perimeter protection each disable the others; the DVR runs only one at a time.
Furthermore, the DVR records at up to 3K/5 MP Lite resolution using efficient H.265 Pro+/H.265 Pro/H.265/H.264+/H.264 compression, and it decodes up to 24 channels at 1080p@30fps for a full monitoring wall. On top of that, an RS-485 serial interface enables PTZ control, and a single SATA bay holds drives up to 12 TB.
