Hikvision DS-9664NXI-I8/S – 64-Channel 2U 4K AcuSense Network Video Recorder
The Hikvision DS-9664NXI-I8/S is a 64-channel 2U NVR built for enterprise sites that need RAID-backed storage alongside deep-learning analytics. Specifically, it accepts up to 64 IP camera inputs at resolutions up to 12 MP, and since it carries no built-in PoE ports, all cameras connect through an external network switch. As a result, installers should plan switch infrastructure and cabling separately from the recorder itself.
In addition, facial recognition and face picture comparison run on this recorder, supporting up to 16 face libraries with up to 10,000 stored faces. Meanwhile, perimeter protection covers up to 4 channels with human and vehicle analysis, which in turn reduces false alarms caused by leaves, shadows, or small animals. Furthermore, eight SATA interfaces accept drives up to 10 TB each, giving up to 80 TB of total capacity, and the recorder supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, and 10 for data redundancy. On top of that, built-in POS integration overlays transaction data on live view and playback, while dual HDMI and VGA outputs support flexible local monitoring.
