Hikvision DS-7608NXI-K1/8P – 8-Channel PoE 1U K Series AcuSense 4K NVR
The Hikvision DS-7608NXI-K1/8P is an 8-channel PoE NVR built for installations that need AI-driven detection alongside standard recording. Specifically, it accepts up to 8 IP camera inputs, and its 8 built-in PoE ports power cameras directly, so a separate PoE switch isn’t required. As a result, the whole system runs off one enclosure with clean cabling.
In addition, AcuSense technology analyses video for human and vehicle shapes, which in turn filters out false alarms triggered by leaves, insects, or shadows. Meanwhile, the recorder handles facial detection and face picture comparison, supporting up to 16 face libraries with thousands of stored faces. Furthermore, a single SATA interface accepts drives up to 10 TB, giving ample headroom for 8-channel continuous recording. On top of that, HDMI output reaches 4K resolution, so a single monitor can display sharp local playback, while stream-over-TLS encryption keeps transmitted footage secure.
