Hikvision DS-7732NXI-K4/16P – 32-Channel PoE 1.5U K Series AcuSense 4K NVR
The Hikvision DS-7732NXI-K4/16P is a 32-channel 1.5U NVR built for larger installations that need extensive storage alongside AI-driven detection. Specifically, it accepts up to 32 IP camera inputs, while its 16 built-in PoE ports power the first 16 cameras directly over a single Ethernet run each. As a result, the remaining 16 channels connect through an external network switch, so installers should plan additional switch capacity for a full 32-camera build-out.
In addition, AcuSense technology analyses video for human and vehicle shapes, which in turn filters out false alarms triggered by leaves, insects, or shadows. Meanwhile, Motion Detection 2.0 runs across all 32 channels, while device-level human/vehicle recognition covers 2 channels directly. Furthermore, the recorder handles facial detection and face picture comparison, supporting up to 16 face libraries with up to 20,000 stored faces. On top of that, four SATA interfaces accept drives up to 10 TB each, giving up to 40 TB of total capacity, and dedicated alarm and serial ports support integration with external sensors and access control equipment.

Who This NVR Suits Best
- Large commercial and industrial sites – 32-channel capacity with four SATA bays suits warehouses, factories, and multi-building complexes needing extended footage retention.
- Sites integrating external sensors and gates – the extensive alarm I/O and RS-485/RS-232 ports support connection to access barriers, intrusion sensors, and third-party alarm panels.
- Installations with existing PoE switch infrastructure – businesses that already run structured network cabling can connect the extra 16 cameras beyond the built-in PoE ports without added hardware cost.
