Hikvision DS-2CD1167G2H-LIU(2.8MM) – 6 MP ColorVu with Smart Hybrid Light Fixed Dome Network Camera
The Hikvision DS-2CD1167G2H-LIU is a 6 MP fixed dome network camera that combines ColorVu imaging with Smart Hybrid Light illumination. Specifically, it uses a 1/2.4″ progressive scan CMOS sensor paired with an F1.0 aperture lens, which keeps colour visible at just 0.001 Lux. As a result, footage stays in colour well after dusk, instead of switching to grainy black-and-white. In addition, the camera’s dual IR and white-light illuminator extends supplementary lighting up to 30 m, so operators can choose full-colour night footage or standard IR monitoring as needed.
Meanwhile, onboard human and vehicle detection classifies motion events rather than triggering on every moving object; consequently, false alerts from leaves, shadows, and small animals drop significantly. Furthermore, the housing carries an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance alongside an IK08 rating for impact resistance, and it operates across a wide -30°C to 60°C range. On top of that, either a 12 VDC supply or PoE (IEEE 802.3af) powers the unit, making installation flexible for both new sites and existing PoE networks.
Important note: this is the LIU variant, not LIUF. Therefore, it has no microSD card slot and no reset key, so it depends on an NVR or VMS for recording rather than storing footage locally. Buyers who need on-board storage should instead look at the LIUF version.
