The Hikvision DS-2CD2T46G2H-2I(4mm) is a 4 MP AcuSense fixed bullet network camera built for outdoor sites that need strong low-light performance and precise perimeter alerts rather than colour night vision. Specifically, it uses a 1/3″ progressive scan CMOS sensor powered by DarkFighter technology paired with a fixed 4 mm lens, giving an 81.1° horizontal field of view and a detection range up to 78 m. In addition, its twin IR illuminators reach up to 60 m, so footage stays sharp and usable in full darkness even without supplemental lighting.
Meanwhile, deep-learning AcuSense human and vehicle classification covers both basic motion alerts and full perimeter protection, including line crossing, intrusion, and region entrance/exiting detection; as a result, false alarms from leaves, shadows, or small animals drop sharply. Furthermore, 120 dB true WDR keeps footage clear against strong backlighting at entrances and gates, and the all-metal housing carries an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance across a -30°C to 60°C range. On top of that, an on-board microSD slot supports up to 512 GB of local storage, so the camera can still capture footage if the network connection drops.
