Hikvision DS-2CD1643G2-LIZU(2.8-12mm) – 4 MP Dual Light MD 2.0 Varifocal Bullet Network Camera
The Hikvision DS-2CD1643G2-LIZU(2.8-12mm) is a 4 MP Smart Hybrid Light varifocal bullet network camera built for outdoor perimeter surveillance that needs both sharp detail and flexible framing. Specifically, it uses a 1/3″ progressive scan CMOS sensor paired with a motorized 2.8–12 mm varifocal lens, so installers can adjust the field of view remotely, from a wide 96.7° angle down to a narrow 29.7° zoom, without remounting the camera. In addition, its Smart Hybrid Light system combines infrared and white-light illumination, extending supplementary lighting up to 50 m; as a result, footage stays clear in both colour and black-and-white modes after dark.
Meanwhile, onboard human and vehicle detection (MD 2.0) classifies motion events instead of triggering on every moving object, which in turn cuts down on false alerts from leaves, shadows, or small animals. Furthermore, the housing carries an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance and operates across a -30°C to 60°C range, and either 12 VDC power or PoE (IEEE 802.3af) runs the unit. On top of that, a built-in microphone captures audio alongside video, and an on-board microSD slot supports up to 512 GB of local storage, so the camera can still capture footage if the network connection drops.
