Hikvision DS-2CD2955G0-IS(U) – 5 MP Fixed Fisheye Network Camera
The Hikvision DS-2CD2955G0-IS(U) delivers 5 MP fisheye coverage for full-room, wide-area indoor monitoring. Specifically, it pairs a 1/2.7″ progressive scan CMOS sensor with a fixed 1.05 mm lens. As a result, it captures a complete 180° horizontal, vertical, and diagonal field of view. Installers can therefore mount one camera on a ceiling, wall, or table and cover an entire lobby, retail floor, or open-plan office without blind spots.
Meanwhile, 120 dB true WDR keeps faces and detail visible even against strong window backlight. In addition, BLC and 3D DNR further clean up the image in mixed or low-light conditions. Furthermore, the camera offers 14 selectable display modes, including full fisheye view, 180° panorama, and multi-channel PTZ dewarping. Consequently, operators can switch between one wide overview and several zoomed-in virtual views from a single lens. On top of that, line crossing and intrusion detection add smart perimeter-style alerts inside a space that a normal fixed camera cannot cover alone.
This model also comes in two variants worth noting. Namely, the DS-2CD2955G0-ISU includes a built-in microphone for on-camera audio capture, while the base DS-2CD2955G0-IS omits it. Both variants share the same imaging, lens, and mounting options. Therefore, the choice mainly depends on whether the install point needs audio pickup.
